Caring for your jewellery
Diamonds are the hardest natural material on earth and solid gold lasts generations. A little care keeps them shining.
Last on, first off
Put your jewellery on after perfume, lotion and hairspray, and take it off before the gym, swimming, cleaning or gardening.
Keep away from chemicals
Chlorine, bleach and harsh cleaners can weaken gold and dull its finish. Remove rings before pools, hot tubs and housework.
Store pieces separately
Diamonds can scratch other jewellery and even other diamonds. Keep each piece in its own pouch or a lined box compartment.
Look at the prongs
Every few months, check that the stones do not move and the prongs are not catching on fabric. If anything feels loose, stop wearing it and contact us.
Refresh the shine
White gold is finished with rhodium for a bright white colour. Over time it softens to a warmer tone and can be re-plated.
Yearly check-up
Once a year, have your piece professionally cleaned and inspected so small issues are caught early.
Clean at home in five minutes
Soak in warm water with a drop of mild washing-up liquid for 10 minutes. Brush gently behind the diamond with a soft toothbrush, rinse in clean water and pat dry with a lint-free cloth.
